As the founding CEO of Creative UK (formerly Creative England), Caroline champions the creative industries by investing and supporting creative ideas, talent and businesses, harnessing the power of the creative sector to build a fairer, more prosperous world. She is also a member of BAFTA and the Royal Society of Arts, Chairwoman of The Music Works, a young people’s music education charity and a trustee for the PRS Foundation, an organisation supporting new music and talent. Caroline sits on the Creative Industries Council and co-chairs the Growth working group of the Council. Caroline is a founding board member of the Creative Industries Independent Standards Agency, (CIISA) and Chairwoman of the cross-industry “Roundtable” group focused on reducing bullying, harassment, and discrimination in the Creative Sector. She has two honorary doctorates from the University of Essex and Arts University Bournemouth.
Champion Caroline first engaged pressurepoint back in 2015 to help her build a high performing senior team, overcome frictions and empower more effective strategic execution. A hugely talented and creative multi faceted leader, Caroline juggles many roles and trusts coaching to ground her thinking and enhance the way she leads her creative, strong-minded & talented team.
