Creative industry icon Karen is a renowned business leader with an impressive track record creating vibrant cultures, energising teams, and consistently delivering business growth and success. She was the former UK President for WPP, the world’s largest marketing services group and responsible for driving growth in WPP’s second largest market of 10,000 people. In 2011, she introduced the first government-backed apprenticeship programme in the media sector, and in 2018 she was appointed by the Prime Minister as Race Equality Business Champion. She has topped the EMpower, HERoes, and Powerlist rankings, featured in the Vogue 25 Most Influential Women in Britain, and was named on the Radio 4 Woman’s Hour Power List. In 2014 she was awarded an OBE for services to media and communications.
Karen first teamed up with pressurepoint in 2007 during her role as UK New Business Director. This partnership continued into even larger roles as GroupM UK CEO and in her former role as UK Country President of WPP.
