David is the Founder and Managing Director of Trebla Consulting Ltd, the firm he launched in 2021 following his earn-out from Iris Worldwide > Cheil Worldwide. As well as his marketing consultancy engagements for UK and Global brands, David is NED for a Cultural Insights consultancy, an Advisor for two creative agencies and a partner in a global CTV platform business. A self-described 'creative, curious, simplifier', David spent 19 years of his agency career at Iris, joining the leadership team as the first partner outside the start-up team in 2002, helping transform the advertising agency rise from a £2.5m income, 30-person UK business, into a Global agency network generating £100m+ income, with 1,000 people across 17 offices in 13 countries.
As part of his preparation process for exiting Iris, David worked with pressurepoint, collaborating with Debi Lee through a 6-month programme of executive coaching. David considers this experience to be instrumental. Through the Less Friction. More FlowSM methodology Debi helped David to propel flow and ignite performance, giving him the confidence to found Trebla Consulting rather than accept one of the significant agency senior leadership roles being offered to him. And he hasn’t looked back since.
