Women in Advertising and Communications London (WACL) is a unique and special club for the most influential women in the UK’s communications industry.
WACL asked pressurepoint to put together a unique and bespoke full day programme aimed at leadership level delegates. The programme was to be offered as a prize during their Christmas raffle and was donated free of charge by pressurepoint, with facilities offered by the Hospital Club in Covent Garden - also free of charge. The contents of the day were left to pressurepoint to devise.
Pearl & Dean were the eventual prize winners - the attendees were from a selection of Pearl & Dean executives, their large retail client and media delivery partners.
To design and deliver a ‘non- specific’ meaningful and enjoyable day that would still inspire individuals to greater performance and give them tangible tools and techniques to use their roles.
‘The Mindful Way to Creativity’ was developed, consisting of 4 inter-connected sessions that link the mind, spirit and body. The aim of the day was to help delegates create a state of mind and body that enabled them to see problems and opportunities clearly, and find creative and innovative solutions.
To lead the team through a sequence of gentle energy restoring poses.
To introduce the team to the idea of ‘training the mind’ using systematic mindful leadership practices and practical everyday applications.
This session explored the world of creativity and aimed to tap in to our natural abilities to be creative and innovative.
An interactive purposeful session that included a lesser known psychometric which gave them insights into 1 key aspect of high performing teams.
Whilst the delegates had an enjoyable day away from their day to day jobs, they also left better equipped to deal with work challenges with new tools and techniques from the 4 sessions. Feedback from delegates was very positive.
…an inspiring, relaxing and enjoyable day.
Really got me thinking and ...will change some behaviour.
